© 2008 Bromyard Branch Model Railway

The Bromyard Branch is a 00 scale model railway

under construction in a private home near to where the original line ran into the Herefordshire market town of Bromyard.

This 1/76th scale  model attempts to capture the essence of this GWR branch line which came to an end in 1964.

The station area at Bromyard has been modelled completely from pictures as the site has been completely re-developed.

However, the station at Rowden Mill is depicted as it still is, being an award winning restoration, to the original by the current owners.

The 'end to end' railway runs into a busy motive power depot, that we call 'Worcester' as the branch started there on its way to Leominster, via Bromyard.

The Bromyard Branch is not open to the public but we would very much like to hear from anyone with an interest in the line or who may have travelled, or worked on it,  in the past.
